“Parkway Electric has been our provider for all new construction or additional service needs for Davenport University Athletic facilities.
The main controller unit was purchased and used at a remote location to enable service during the year prior to final construction of the press box. The Stadium sound system has been designed for various zones, in order to enable sound from only one side of the field and so that the event level sound is less disruptive to the surrounding area and neighbors.
Parkway has provided a high quality on-field Officials Microphone capability that has been very effective during our first full home football season. Utilizing pressbox raceways/conduit designed in construction, Parkway has added new speakers for direct sound into the VIP suite from the Audio Booth. This system has been well received, and includes a volume control capability for the guests in the suite.
The most important aspect of our relationship with Parkway Electric is their ability to come and service last minute or emergency needs just prior to upcoming important events. Parkway has at times worked miracles for us, in helping to resolve Friday afternoon issues where new equipment was ordered, shipped, received, installed, and tested prior to the following Monday at 8:30 am. This type of reliable service is invaluable to our operation.”
