Calvin University Fine Arts Center

Parkway has been proud to call Calvin University a customer for many years. When it came time for system upgrades and an auditorium remodel, Parkway was their choice for audio/visual design and installation based on our longtime relationship and reputation for quality and performance. 

The Auditorium remodel was the largest piece of the project and posed the greatest challenge. Parkway engineers successfully balanced acoustical elements, lighting fixtures, structural and mechanical items with a line-array loudspeaker placement, all while maintaining minimal visual impact for the audience. The auditorium and recital hall were both installed with Hearing Loop Hearing Assistance systems. 

One major key to the success of this project was the close collaboration with both the college’s technical staff and Parkway's design consultant.

With state-of-the-art surround speakers, and quality audio design and integration, Calvin's auditorium and recital hall now feature technical systems that rival any performance venue in the country.
